Speedy Science was founded in January 2012, mere months before the end of the world, by Robert Berthiaume. It operates out of Toronto, Canada.
Rob is a 26 year-old science enthusiast who holds a BSc in Physics & Astronomy from York University and is currently completing an MSc in laser physics at York. He has been involved in science outreach efforts with Astronomy.fm, the York University Observatory, 365daysofastronomy, Let’s Talk Science, and the Ontario Science Center. Apart from a general interest in practically all science, his particular academic interests include planetary science, human spacecraft and mission planning, small bodies in the solar system, and gravitational microlensing. He enjoys scuba diving , hiking, motorcycling, and while he doesn’t smoke or bite his nails, he does follow NASCAR.
